Hiking in Margarita can be very rewarding. It seems as if there are no trails but once you start up out of a town, you find trails criss-crossing every which way. Here Melissa and I were lucky enough to come across a spectacular view through the valley of San Juan of La Restinga and Macanao (my deserted side of the island).
